Did anybody catch the turbo Buicks on Speed Channel :fragez:  I don't think it was the same one they ran a couple of years ago. For some reason this was more focused on the turbo Regals and not as much on the GNX!It showed a blurp of Buddy Ingerssoll car also! I thought it was very good {duh} Not often you get to see something pertaining to our cars and I guess you have to savor it when you have the chance! :applaus:

Ingersoll's was in there, but not for long.

They talked to Hartline for a second.

Cool show.

Must've missed Buddy's car  I saw Cosners, (grey and orange) Buddy's was actually an Olds Cutlass that was once owned by WJ

They showed a clip of the driver quarter of it, very sort clip.

Wish they would have talked about it.

Yeah,me too! I saw the car at an I.H.R.A. event in the 80's. It was before I had ever heard anything about a Grand National. They wouldn't let him run for some reason. It looked like it had big Buick bucks behind though. Buick plastered all over the place and plenty of spare parts in the trailer.I believe after talking to one the guys with the Buick shirts on they said it ran deep in the 7's It trly was an impressive car in those days! A 6 CLYINDER I was shocked!

Ingersoll's car was on for a split second. The car is owned by a guy named Shawn that lives in the metro detroit area.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know of anywhere online to get a copy? I am talking digital and not ordering it from the speed channel. A link or even a filename to search for would be great.

Thanks

Damn that Blue T looked sweet. I'm building up a T-type that color right now, I was going to paint it gray but after seeing that car I'm now torn...

Nice to see the Savinos of Turbobuicks.com fame on there too.

Cool to see you're famous now, Louie! :anbet: :D Bill Steuernagel's car was the original fast stock block car...it went 9.77 with a 109 block at Reynolds about 4-5 years ago!
