Saint Louis here. Uh, I've seen a few Grand Nationals around here. Particulary one the other day. I was coming back from the credit union and me and my dad were talking about GN's, and we see one right as we're talking about it. Anyways, I live in the North County/Overland area.

Well, I've only met a handful of the Tr community in the St Louis area.....plans of getting my car up and running last year fell thru.

Yeah, I really didn't even want to go to hall street tonight but my friends kept pushing it. The whole day I told them I wasn't going to race, but everyone was pushing it. I gave in despite my car running really bad. I didn't blow a gasket but I was for sure knocking real bad. Not running my car hard until I get my new TE-45a setup =/.

Paris, IL, which is on the east side of IL, just north of I-70. Not too many TRs this way, I only know of one fairly close.

I was down there this past week end. Sall a beat up 84 GN for sale over that way.

A few years ago that was a nice looking car. It has sat there for the past 5 years I think. Has been totally rebuilt but doesn't run. I asked serveral times about the price and I think the price now is 6500. I talked with them and she told me that the 84-85 machines are better, faster, quicker, and all around better than the IC cars. Stay away from that car dealer. My car is up in St Louis betting repaired, hopefully we will get it back real soon. I am in Waynesville a lot. Have seen a couple GN's down there. There is only one daily driven car around here and it is beat real bad. Another one is almost new condition and is only driven a few days a year, the manager of Arby's.

I was just in the car show that they had down in Waynesville. Thats weird I have not seen any around here. I talked to someone the other day that told me that his friend just brought his GN from Georgia, here on base, but I have yet to see it. Where do you have you car in ST Luis? I want to take mine up there when I get the new motor in, for some tunning.

It is at Bill Dieckmans, GN TType Performance cent just south east of Six Flags. Small 2 car garage out of his house. Does great work but expensive. We should meet up sometime and talk about these silly cars.

Second saturday of each month there is a cruise in. I am hoping will be able to go to, if my car is done, the one in Sept.
