What do you guys think? Especially on the Stage 4 Cheetah turbo. How does it compare to others like the Garrets?

I used to have a stage 4 Cheetah and I loved it it had a unique sound when it spoiled up had a cool whine I have a 63 now and i miss that sound though I love the pull. The cheetah turbo spun up really quick and works great with most stock parts I would advise stepping up to slightly larger injectors and a good chip. :D

Done and done.

Thrasher 92 Octane chip and 42.5lb injectors.

MacneilBMX,

What are your ET goals with your vehicle?

Our Stage IV Cheetah can support around 500 HP. Works quite well with minor bolt-ons.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

can a cheetah stage IV be used w/ a stock D5?

what are some of the benefits of the cheetah series over the TE44 or TA 49 (if it is in the same range)

do they come w/ polished compressor housings?

sorry im not trying to hijack the thread, but i was wondering the same things about the cheetah turbos as the other guy

MacneilBMX,

I have several customers who have done it, so it is definitely possible.

KillrV6,

Yes, you can run a Stage IV with a stock D5. Although a light upgrade wouldn't hurt at all ( Red Stripe/Orange Crush/Etc )

The Stage IV is actually a bit larger than the TE44/TA49 series, but not by much.

Yes, all of our compressor housings come polished standard. They also come with a 1 year no fault/no hassle warranty, even in competition use!

Any more questions, feel free to ask.

i had a stage III cheetah .63 exhaust housing a while back on my street car. went 117 mph with that with a mild bolton setup. i now changed up to a 60-1 stage V ball bearing with a .82 exhaust housing, gonna test it this summer to see if it pickes up, hopefully worth 2-3 mph at the same boost.

Had a stage 4 on my car with the stock D5 and an .82 houing. It was a pig until about 100 ft out then all hell broke loose. I picked up 31mph on the big end with it. I ran a 12.7@114mph with a 2.15 60' and only 18psi. My net combo will definately include another turbonetics turbo. A BB 60 series(65-66) and 57lb/hr injectors are my next thought.

I'm currently running 50's with a 51 now and an orange stripe. Hoping for bottom 11's with a built motor.
