With the eagle 4340 forged cranks being available for less than kings ransome, the question that begs to be asked ... who in SW Ontario (Windsor to Kingston) is known to be excellent at line BORE and line HONE for our little 6ers. New crank = new steel caps = new bearings and its all gotta go in straight ... anybody know of a shop good enuf for BUICK GRADE tolerances ?
I've been to half a dozen shops around here (Kitchener) and nobody offers line BORE ... and nobodies shure just where to go. Car Quest thinks maybe their London Mach. Shop is up for the task but they don't seem to have torques plates for the application .... ds
