Ouch! I am looking for one in the 2k-2.2k range. Probably why I need to stick to the Stage 1 attempt.

With all the time and money you having taking your engines in and out. Buy this tank and be done, tune it right and run 9's all day without breaking shit. :arco:

Funny :add_wegbr Just a head gasket so far. That extra $1500.00 is a killer to me. I would rather have a Stage 1 14 bolt and add the Eagle crank and a good set of rods. Are you coming to the Buick meet at Cecil in October? If these head gaskets hold up in testing before that time comes I plan on trying to blow it up there! Not really but I plan on running it as hard as I can. I really want to be the first to go 9's with an ungirdled, iron head 109 with Hyper pistons! I should have never of built that production 4.1. It has just been sitting the last 1 1/2 years. How is the market on complete motors right now? I listed it on E-Bay when the economy was doing bad. Maybe it is time to list it again. I think it was up to $1500.00 when it ended. If I could sell it I would get your block. That is if you come down a little :arco: :joint: :deal:

Jesse,
I've got one. It's a 4.1 liter with a 3.967" bore. What are you planning to build this time?

Nothing too extreme. Just want a decent block with more head bolts and something worth putting a nice rotating assembly in. How much are you asking for your block?

Jesse,
Drop me a line and we can discuss price, shipping etc. Let's just say it's a whole lot less than the Stage II block you were offered above. I didn't know poeple were asking prices that high. I sold a New 4.1 Stage II less than 6 months ago for $2800. I probably should have kept it. 20/20 hindsight I guess. :(

Is your Stage 1 14 bolt and 4 bolt main?

Neal,
I sent you a reply. Let me know what you think.
I have a Proto-Type Stage I Block (Virgin, Still In Factory Cosmoline)
The reason I call it a proto-type is that the casting # is 25500004. It doesn't
have the extra head bolt holes, But does have the heavy webbing in the
botton for four bolt Steel main caps.(I have those also).I checked the weight
on the block and it weighs the same as the stage II block. So its as strong as
the later casting # blocks. I almost wanna keep it from a historical point of
view, But I need money to fund my $tage II project. Let me know if your
interested.
