How many of you guys have your cars dressed up in full pace car fashion?

When I got my TTA it came with the decal kit and the 2 fender emblems but I elected not to put them on. I kinda prefer the sleeper look myself.

Anyone "dumbed" down their car with GTA badging for the ultimate sleeper?

Two of mine have the decals and everything on and at least they attract attention.People can easily tell what they are and if they dont know it makes them curious to ask(like at car shows)

My hardtop has no decals but does have a full emblem set(which most people overlook)and usually gets passed on as a no option GTA - till they hear the turbo :)

But the most fun I have is in my GTA.First it's a t-top GTA which most people assume is a 305 and it's quiet thanks to the turbo motor.Plus it has stock rims all around,a missmatched front bumper(bumper is white, car is red)and with the tinted windows up you cant see the rollbar. But with mid 10 second performance I usually only fool people once :D

Rob, I have opted for the sleeper look. When I bought the car, the door decals were not on it, but the windshield decal was. Instead of buying door decals and puttin them on, I decided to jsut take the windshield decal off. The badges are still on, however. I think I like the car without the decals better.

I personally love the look of a TTA with the door and windshield decals on, but for a car that gets driven a descent amount (within 100 miles of the Mexican border) I don't like all the attention it attracts. I would just worry about ever parking the car and wheather it would still be there or in Mexico when I returned. If I had 2 TTA's then one of them would definately have the decals.

Mine came with everything still in the box. Fender emblems were also in there as they were never put on. I like the clean look but have toyed with the idea of putting everything on.

mine has everything but the winshield banner. I want to take a heat gun and pull the decals off the doors(not sure about hurting the paint) and powdercoat the rims black though. I think the white t/a's look so much better with black rims.

Pete...Just bring that car over my house,We can put it in the garage for the day with the propane heater on...MAybe when we check back on it the Stickers would of just fallen off the car... :hahaha:

My car also has all the stickers,Minus the windshield banner,In NJ they would fail you for inspection if you had anything on your windshield..

Not sure If Im going to leave the stickers....Probably going to remove them,Since I still have another original set in the owners kit.And Just leave the badges on.

Not quite that extreme, but only emeblems on my car are front nose emblem and rear filler bird and black elec. tape covers the rear "Turbo" emblem. Car has GTA rear seats. So I guess its getting there, I think they look alot better cleaned of the badging. JMO

Heh Heh, I got a buddy that keeps telling me to do that... :zahn:

I agree with you that the car looks cleaner with no emblems. I think the gold emblems are a dated look now...
