Anyone know what page off the top of their head on what page of the 86 Buick service manual the wiring diagrams for the headlights are? I've found the running light/dash light circuits but it's missing the headlights.

Friday night I went for a test run after reinstalling the headers, with headlights on low beam the Drivers side Low was on bright. All other headlights were on dim. Theres 7.5V on the high beams with the low beams on and the Right turn signal indicator is on inside. It's a short but the headlight wirning diagram would help track it down.

7.5v on which wire? If one is bright then the circuit from the dimmer is good. I suspect a bad ground, I've also seen bad bulns do this. I posted diagrams on gnttype eons ago, the headlight circuit is there.

It's 7.5V on the high beam circuts when the low beams are on.

I'll keep digging through the shop manual. I guess a logical order was too much to ask. I changed the negative cable during the header replacement. I'll start digging.

If you replaced the negative cable than double check and make sure you hooked up the little ground cable to the right side fender. This is the one held on to the fender with with the 10mm headed screw by the battery.

Was chasing wires from the headllight to find the problem and found that ground loose. It had dropped behind the battery and I missed it when hooking everything else up.

Now I just need another headlight to replace the good one with broken terminals now.

Then it's :beerglass

Cells 100 and 101 depending on whether or not you have the twilight sentinel headlight option.

Kinda stuck in the back of the manual. :marchmell
