I was talking with my tranny guy today. He said my stock
mount is getting soft. He recommended replacing it with a
polyurethane mount. Does anyone make a direct replacement
for a stock setup ? I've looked at HR Parts & stuff, but It sounds
like you have do some fabrication to use their mount. I'll fabricate if
I have to, but I'd rather just replace it.

I'm not a fan of the poly stuff...I had one in my TTA...rattle your goddamn teeth out. I'm sure it will be a little better since the TR has a full frame, but can't imagine it would be good enough for me to live with.

Just go to Autozone and get stock replacement one for under $10 and you are set for another 10 years.

From what I understand, no one makes a poly mount that fits in the stock location. You can swap out your tranny crossmember for a Monte Carlo one. You can get a poly mount for the Monte crossmember from just about anywhere.

I am going to get a Monte crossmember. I already have the poly mount.
