I damn near got my hand messed up while revving up the GN with the up pipe off. My hand got pulled into the throttle blade. Gave me a new respect for the amount of vacuum that the little engine can pull.

We had a guy get finger sucked into a 8v-92 Silver Detroit Diesel years back. He was setting the Hi speed governer and your had is right there. He lost his middle finger down to 2nd knuckel. Paid 10k back in the mid 80's. It took a chunck out of the compresser wheel. They wanted me to tear apart the motor to look for pieces, but after anything goes thru the turbo, then a blower , you know its way past the mangle stage. I did find a chunk layin on the valve cover tho, looked like ground beef from the meat market. Useless flesh.
BTW, yea, he lived. His girlfriend was happey after the pain went away, his finger swelled up 4 times the size :lickit:
