radio finally stopped working in my 86 GN (time displays but no radio or tape functions) i've got a radio that came w/ my sons 93 z28 Bose am/fm/cassette
physically i'm almost positive it will fit and my brackets look to fit on this Bose. for the wiring i was just going to get a GM 12 pin to GM 21 pin wiring harrness. i was told by someone at Best Buy it wouldnt work cuz the Bose gets a low vottage signal to run its amp. of course this is the same kid that said i probably couldnt put any other radio in my buick than a stock radio. so is he completely off base about the wiring? thanks, keith

yea never heard of that one before. All you need is the adapter to take you to the newer harness and you may need a antenna adapter as well. Some of the newer radios have a smaller antenna hole.

Beside the harness and the antanna. You have to use Bose speakers, the speaker have there own amps built in, if you use standard speakers it will have no volume.

I know the bose system in my 92 vette also had a preamp located under the dash that youd need to have also
