I need a little advise. Trying to shoot a fuel problem.
If you have your FP gauge hooked to the rail and turn the car off how long should you be able to hold the fuel pressure? My guage is not leaking fuel but the pressue drops off to 20 PSI as soon as you kill the mill. I had just got her running stable (no kr, nice 02's with 43lbs pressure (vac line off) and now all of a sudden I have to crank the static pressure to 55lbs(VLO) in order to run the same boost with same 02's. I know I have a problem and am going out in the daylight to have a look see. Anybody been here before?

should hold pressure at least like 15 minutes. You probably have a leaking injector or three. HTH

I'd guess your fuel pressure regulator is junk.

You can diagnois by:
1. Clamping off the return line. If the pressure still drops, check ball in fuel pump or injectors.
2. Clamp off the pressure line. If pressure still drops, regulator or injectors.
3. Clamp off both lines. If pressure drops, injector leak.

The fix was a small leak in a fuel hose by my gas tank. Just for the record. :arco:
