Probably redundant, but I'll ask anyway for additional comments:

"ARP main studs finally arrived (on order for two months) for my second aluminum block!

Now, stupid question. What do ya'll use to "glue" them in place (so-to-speak)? Loctite? and if so, what type?
The studs in the other al. block appear to be glued in (couldn't unscrew them) with some type of loctite that looks black in color. It's not RTV because whatever it is, is hard.

Also, when I finally decide on what heads to run, I'll be ordering a set of head studs, so would they be "affixed" the same way, or just screwed in? I'm assuming that head studs would probably not be loctite'd in, but don't know.
BTW, head stud holes on these blocks are all blind, so sealant is a non issue."

Thanks guys!

Leakproof Head Studs = Locktite 567 finger tight plus another 1/8 turn. Let sit overnite & torque down the heads. The studs will move a little (1/8-1/4 turn) but this is normal. They wont leak!!

Cool, but I don't have that problem with my aluminum block. ALL holes are blind :arco:

it does say that if you use loctite, that the studs should
be torqued under a load while the locktite sets.
