Dave,

What size turbo are you running?
Looks like maybe a small 76mm.
What are your et goals for the car?

John,

I am running (or will soon run) a Turbonetics BB T-76 Qtrim. Maybe a little small for the capabilities of the engine, But I am keeping my goals conservative. I want a package that will produce 750-800HP on 18-20 psi, spool quickly, and be ultra-reliable. My car weights 3150 (depending on whose scales I use), and the car should run 9.80's. I don't have a cage, just a 6 point so if I run too fast, I'll be asked to leave. (what a great problem to have!)

I still have lots of work to do, and then put the tune-up on the car. I figure the car ought to be ready for the new BPG event in Salem Ohio.

Dave,

Sounds like fun.
I think you will be a little faster than 9.8s though . =)
What have you done to take the weight out of the car?

Kendall,
You noticed my PVC and conduit downpipe? I found out that 3" pvc has an OD of 3.5" which is what I am having made. I took the model down to Woolf Aircraft today to find out how much $ to have it made in one piece. Its not going to be cheap..... but unless you have a mandrel bender I don't really have any options.

John,

I've removed every power option. Power steering, Power windows, Sunroof, Power seat, front and rear bumpers replaced with fiberglass, No AC or heater box, added aluminum radiator. My latest acquistion is a complete fiberglass front clip. All the front sheet metal is going away. Both stock front seat are coming out and I'm installing a Kirkey aluminum seat. I figure the car ought to be less than 2900# when I'm done. I'll pick up a couple tenths just by loosing the weight. The car is faster already!

Wow are you thinking it will come in at 2900lbs with you in it???
That would be amazing. Please post some pictures when you start working on that. I am thinking about trying to get chris to do that!
