For the cooling gain yes, but looks-wise hell no!! Well, that's my take....what do you think?

I always liked the look of them. Maybe not the big L-88 looking one with the rain gutter but a nice short Chevelle or Z-28 one would look good on a GN. I've seen pics of GN's with them. To be honest, I think they look better than our lump on the average turbo Regal. That's just my opinion. I don't have the cheap ass 3.8 turbo badges on my hood anymore, either. They fell off within a few years of owning it. Anybody know how to get the old adhesive marks off the lump??

BTW, recently I took some of the old, hardened body tape off of my hood's blister with a little bit of acetone....I DON"T know if it would hurt the paint in a larger portion, but on my little spot (1"x1") it took the crap off great and didn't hurt the paint..........so that I could put my cheap ass 3.8 turbo badge back on! :zahn:

Why do I see so many GN/Buick powered vehicles? Are people just keeping an eye out for wrecked ones and buying the engines? It wouldn't make sense to just strip the engine out of a perfectly good one.....? :fragez:

Alot of them are rusted out beyond repair so people drop the drivetrain in whatever they have laying around that weighs less than a TR. IMO an N/A regal with a TR drivetrain is kind of a waste, you have a car that isn't original in any way and no benefits such as reduced weight. May as well make a true hybred with a light body.

I just don't like to think of anyone taking the engine from a restoreable TR.
