Well, just found out the date. It appears as though the date is set for June 19th from 10-4, same location. Also for those interested, the Portland chapter of the Buick club of America's car show is August 15th in Brookes Or. from 8-3. I will make the Puyallup one but the Brookes one is a little early in the a.m. for me. Who knows, I will have to see what happens.

Yep. The family and I will be there. Not showing this year, just a spectator. That way I'm guaranteed to go away with the same trophy as last year...NOTHING!!! Those bastards :frech:

Hey, that sounds like something I might be into... Puyallup isn't too far from here I don't think... What are the rules and classes? I'd like to bring the TTA down... Does that qualify as a Buick 'cause of the motor?

Pat- I was thinking about coming up for this show because I have some family that lives by the fairgrounds. I was under the impression the show was there, can you confirm?

I don't mean to hijack, but I saw this listed on the new threads dealy and had a question. I spent a month in Puyallup once and a friend of mine were trying to remember the name of a place right there. There's a restaurant in front of Home Depot across the street from the mall that boasts the tallest bar in the county (?) does anybody know the place?

Rob,
What, are you crazy? You can't enter Pontiac w/ a Buick engine in a Buick show nor a Buick-engined Pontiac in a Pontiac show. You are completely screwed :zahn:

Actually, the Buick show is on Saturday and the Pontiac show is on Sunday.

They have over 30 classes in the Buick show. Mostly by years from the early 1900's thru modern. There might be an hybrid or modified type of class you could enter.

LOL Dan you're too funny... It looks like the show is of the "line the street" variety... I'm not really big on those as assholes with no respect for nice cars usually end up pissing me off... I like the "in the park" setting where the only people there are the enthusiasts...It's much more relaxing... I also thought Puyallup was alot closer :dong: If I'm gonna drive that far I'm going to Bremerton to melt rubber :arco:

Actually Rob it is done very nicely. They rope off the street plus the have 3 or 4 parking lots that fill up also. Last year I think they had about 160 cars or so. Kurt brought the GNx also but don't think that will happen again. Something about rainshowers and so forth. And actually I think there is a class for hybrids. I remember an older ?Jeep? pickup there either last year or the year before with a 455 in it.

Hey Gary, it is about 3-4 blocks (give or take) from the fairgrounds. Let me know if you are going and we can setup some caravan. I am also caravaning with a couple of customers from work. Mainly just 2 '65 skylarks and a '54 Roadmaster. So far anyway.

Hey Dan, lets see if this year I can manage to keep it going straight on the freeway on ramp instead of trying to take it backwards. :arco:

Sounds like an interesting story to me... If I'm to guess you 180'd it then you'd better be careful with that new TC in the car!!!

I recall a few other cars also 180'd it. Wierd sight. Must have been some oil on the road. I took it slow by you guys then realized it was Pat. Luckly no impact.
