With all this talk in the TSO class about their payouts I started thinking about the TSM class payouts.
TSM is by far the largest Buick heads up class with a great turnout at each race. Why can't we get something like this going? We all use parts from these vendors.
Scott, Lonnie what ya think?

Scott & Lonnie have been good at getting sponsors for the series but it would be nice it we could get 2 or 3 vendors to sponsor the series rather than one. I would point out that a good portion of the vendor money in TSO for BG is coming from the racers themselves.

Hartline Performance sponsored the series this year. To be honest, I was disappointed in the recognition we received for doing this. I don't think our name was mentioned once. Your statement reinforces my beleif that nobody knew we were a sponsor. At Reynolds, I even mentioned to Lonnie that none of the sponsors were announced. What vendor were you talking about?

Yea I guess that I didn't even know you were a sponsor. At the event I won I got money from 2 other vendors and reconized them for it. Did you sponsor the series or was it contingency payout for having your sticker on? I was under the impression that T6P was the only major series sponsor and RJC, Arizonagn and TA Performance as associates this year but not sure. I did hear you getting props at another event (Salem I think) as TSM sponsor and remember thinking I wonder if they meant TSO.
I know Dan Strezo and Rob Mattingly put up money for Indy! Thx Guys :D
Jack Cotton & Bill Savino put up money at Salem! Thx Guys :D
Maybe this is why

Have no idea why I get a little face for the T but link works.

One thing I just thought of, maybe Scott only lets it have 1 major sponsor so all the rest are always associates? Not that anything is wrong with associate sponsors just thinking more majors would bring more dollars.

I guess since you came in after the 1st race maybe it didn't get on the website.
Sorry I missed it. Thanks to Hartline Performance for their Series sponsorship along with the rest of the 2006 sponsors!

This is something I was going to offer to Scott anyway so I will post it. I will volunteer my rudmentary web skills to maintain the TSM site. I would update with the results and standings after every event and maintain any other pages as needed.

All TSM Point Series sponsors were announced at BG, Norwalk, Salem and Morocco (the races I attended). You can spank Lonnie for not doing this at Indy & Reynolds. It wouldn't surprise me that Cal didn't hear it at BG....seeing how he was busy tuning/racing cars ALL DAY long everyday at BG.
At more than one event I tugged Dick on the shirt and said "Hey listen, here come our sponsors." Dick would smile when Arizona Door was announced. At Norwalk I sat down with the track owner and went over the sponsor details with him (also told him that I thought Dick had set an event-specific TSM best; which he later announced as being the all-time TSM record )
At Salem I gave the list of sponsors to Jim Haas who has always graciously announced them on multiple occasions at the BPG race. At Morocco, I did all the TSM race announcing and mentioned the sponsors on multiple occasions. These all add up to more than once. ;)
Part of the website issue came about with the "upgrade" where several of the links got bungled and part of the issue was me welcoming a third child into our house this year.
