Is there any reason in particular that you want the T66 ball bearing? You can get a brand new Limit Engineering 45a for about the same as a used T66bb and the 45a will make more power. Plus it will come with the added knowledge that it was built by a top notch builder who stands behind his product 100%.
It is up to you though, of course.

How do you figure that? :albert: They're the same thing, if anything the T-66 will make more power cause of the bigger compressor housing and 4" inlet.

Brian Weaver has one with low miles. I've seen it in person and spun it by hand, all I can say is - NICE, NICE! It can be seen on his site at gbodyparts.com - performance (http://www.gbodyparts.com/performance.htm)
under the "used performance" section.

The 45a and the T66 are not the same thing. The 45a now has a 67mm compressor that I believe uses the GT technology. The 45a will outflow the T66.

Pretty funny how they change the turbos but still call em by the same name. When did this happen? Yesterday? :joint: GT technology gives them the right to use bigger wheels but still call it the same thing. No wonder they make more power. That's kinda what it seems like. Let me guess now, the 45A has a 4" inlet now too? What are the actual flow #s now of the NEW 45A?
My Dad has a T66 BB turbo forsale. Good condition, very low miles. Has a 4 bolt exh housing with a circular 4 bolt downpipe flange (.81exh) Asking $1000

Like I said in another post, John does not like to give out too much info becuase everyone gets confused on what the turbo is.
They changed it 2 weeks ago from what he told me.
The 45a comes with the TO4E housing, but you can get the TO4S housing if you like.
I asked about the new flow #s and Chopper told me that the map is fatter and taller. Pretty much just better all around.
