As you can see, I moved the entire harness to right behind the Left Valve Cover, and then redid the interior part of the harness also.
I also added a power pickup at the remote solenoid, and a set of relays just behind the heater block off plate, eliminating untold points of failure and poor connections.
With the engine out, and working full days, it was 4 days of snipping and soldering. I'd also bought 2 used harnesses and stripped them apart to have enough good bulk wire to fab this.
I'm extremely happy with the results.
