Speedworld Motorplex has a club day scheduled on the above mentioned day. Plenty of notice to arrange to attend. Arizona Performance Buicks has already registered and will attend.
For those SoCal, Nevada, New Mexico racers [and others!], you are also invited and welcome. No dues or other fees, racer and car entry price is $15, and spectators or crew only $10 each.
If you want to make a weekend of it, Saturday is a regular race day at Speedworld, so time-only lanes are available. Gates open at 9:00 AM both days.
March weather is usually sunny and clear with temps about 80 degrees. Should have a local turnout of 20 or so Buicks so join us if you can!
Need more info or directions, contact nick micale or:

i think they have 3 rules there, no alchol (beer etc, not not nitro fuel), firearms, and illegal drugs......
all 3 rules have been broken but know one has be caught...... YET
the answer to that is no they dont serve beer there.

The parking lot? :beerglass Just like high school!
Who lives around there? We need to throw a party. If not, maybe we can tailgate in the parking lot?

guys, thre are plenty of places.... i would offer up my apt. but i am sure it would be shut down so fast that it would not be worth it....
however there are plenty of fine drinking establishments on the way to the track. you can pick from low class to High class.
also one quick idea, would you guys be interested in reserving a lane at the local car show saturday night?

Hell, obviously I would be getting a hotel room....what hotels in the area would be good for a non-rowdy get-together--I know there are probably plenty of crack and hooker places that wouldn't care, but any decent ones that would put up with us? :zahn:
Assuming I go, is there gonna be anybody else who doesn't bring their ride? If not, that's gonna suck!

By the way, what's the elevation in Phoenix?
Buzzard

Elevation is approx 1300 feet. We usually meet up at Nick Micale's house before and caravan to the track. Sometimes we all head over there after to bench race and compare time slips. There are plenty of hotels in the good parts of phoenix, stay away from south phoenix anything up north in the arrowhead area is safe. :beerglass . Woody usually starts drinking before leaving the track because his pit bitch "aka the reaper" drives him home.
If you need more info email Nick Micale at www.arizonagn.com he is the unoffical club day organizer. :yessir:
