Vacuum line, through the firewall?

I recently got an a-pillar mounting VDO 30 lb. boost guage that I'm excited about putting in soon.....I have yet to even look around under the dash. Will I be having to drill a new hole in the firewall, or is there an alternate route to take?

I routed mine through the "foam" where the brake pedal linkage passes through the fire wall. :deal:

I used the rubber grommet for the spedo gear cable.
