Hey whats up everyone! i have a ta49 turbo from precision. i blew a head gasket last season racing a viper, i won by the way, so i was working on it over the winter months. Finally putting the turbo back on, and while doing so, i noticed on the exhaust side by the impeller nut it looks as if it eroded away, in other words instead of being a six point nut, it's a four. wondering if that is the design or is the turbo damaged, no shaft play or impeller damage, theres only about 3,000 miles on the turbo, just wondering what to do put it back that way or send it off to precision!
