View Full Version : How difficult is it to mount 3.5s in the dash from the bottom??

Ive heard of people mounting taller 3.5's in the dash from the bottom so that they'll fit right without interfering with the dash plate..

is there an easy way to do this? i would like to so i can use these infinity 3.5s for the time being till i put my jl audio component set in..

Assuming they will fit depthwise I don't think it would be that hard. Just put the speaker below the mounting ears and put them metal clips on the speakers that will hold them up if with a screw, ya know what I mean? Then you can put the screw from the top into the the metal screw clip and be done...
