Mine has been sitting for awhile and has a bit of rust in it, I don't think I want to trust it with a new S2 motor.

Yep.
When mine was acting up, I called them up and they told me to send it. At the time, they charged me $50 for the rebuild. When I got it back, it was a brand new one:rockwoot:
Make sure you take your vacuum fittings off before you send it in.

Since this was a wastegate thread, I got a question for you Jack?
I have a Tial WG, the smaller one forgot mm's, anyway it says don't run with leaded fuel. Have you seen this to be a problem becuase all I run is leaded fuel in my cars. It hasn't given me a problem yet but.......
BTW, I ordered some parts from Jack for the TFS car, he was great to deal with and tried to help where he could, THANKS BUD:beer: :rockwoot:

Thanks Shane, the Tial offers another seat for the valve, but we have not seen any problem with the leaded fuel affecting it. I have sold lots of them, with the unleaded version the last few years and I am sure it is Tial just covering their product. I haven't seen any problems to date.

Sully, which part was inaccurate the hose blow, trans line or the hour shut down?
BTW... Congrats on the TSM victory it just shows the fastest car doesn't always win.
That may be true Dave, but the one that shows up does.
He's getting a rep for being a tough competitor and a hard charger as well.
Good on him. :beerchug:

I have the Tial 44MM now and pulled it apart to check it out, seat was perfect, not too many passes on it though. I wouldn't worry about any kind of damage to the seat. I can't imagine any real need for a special seat for our race only applications.
As with any race product, you should periodically check the WG for proper operation. So far the Tial gate I have has not shown any issues with rusting, siezing.
