I need to know what is a good fuel pressure to have your car at with alot of mods. like champ alumn. heads, 218 cam , pt fm, 55lb injectors, alcohol inj.,reds double pumper, and a good sized turbo.

and what should the scanmaster read for o2 reading and timing retard for street and race??

Thanks

Fuel pressure should be at what the chip burner recommends, a lot use 43psi line off.

Knock retard should be zero. O2's it depends, since the stock o2 sensor sucks. Tuning with the O2 sensor is asking for trouble, but high 700's is a general area to shoot for.

With all the go fast goodies you have, I hope to hell you are tuning with more than just a Scanmaster.

43 PSI line off.
You'll probably be out of injector if you get at all serious about the turbo. Figure 72s.

Get a WB the stocker is a crappe shot about being even close.
No retard.

Anyone ever experience too much fuel pressure (too rich) seemingly causing knock? Is this even possible?? Because it seems to be what my car does sometimes. Running anywhere from 14 to 17 psi. If I back the FP down a little, it seems to run alright.

Yes too much fuel can cause knock. However you shouldnt have to mess with the FP at all. With properly sized injectors and chip you should never have to go over 43psi

Thrasher 92 calls for 45 psi static. With the basic tweaks in my sig, I dont think it should requre that much FP. I'd like to be able to run at least 17 psi in first gear, since it is a lower timing chip. I run no less then 93, but usually Sunoco 94 octane. What might I set it at static? I gotta pick up a braded line so I can stick the gauge on the windshield and watch it WOT.

I turned it down a couple psi, and it seems to run better. I havent really had a chance to lay into it yet, as traffic has been killer around here on any road.

If you are running a thrasher chip, set it at 45psi (with vacuum line removed) and be doen with it. You can adjust it a 1-2psi either way for fine tuning if your O2's and BLM's show you being rich or lean, but definately start with 45psi.
