They are not for sale, sorry:frown:

They're a one of a kind, one-off set. I could have another set made but they would be hand built out of sections like these are and they wouldn't be cheap. Mass production wasn't something I was planning on doing with these headers (See below).
I actually approached a couple of vendors about making these headers and no one was interested. It's kind of a shame because there is some improvement in this design.. a lot of which you (purposely) can't see. These headers are for fast cars.. they arent a "replacement" like ATRs headers. If you arent running 10.99 at least, you don't want any part of these headers. They're probably overkill for this combination but I'm hoping this setup on the TFS car is just whacky enough to work.
I've been trying to get this header made for 10-12 years.. I even remember approaching Bowling Green Customs about making this header and getting started on a prototype set but they bailed on the funding before they were done.

LOL
So,what's so special? The tube diameter??
Read Jay's post again!
Far as the money goes, they are truly not that expensive once you really think about it:thinking: , like Jay said they are not replacements. A racer spends alot on customs parts, usually, so why skemp on such a cruical area:nixweiss:

It's only *skemp'ing* when your on a budget, if you can afford the best of everything, more power to you, but some of us can't.

Bruce it wasn't meant like it sounds you took it, I am building a race car never said I was on a budget, so in the grand scheme they were really not a big deal. If and When I decide to step up I can use them again and again, so to me they were a good choice!

Seems like were talking *past* each other.
Have you thought about single pipe Ti ones?. <G>
ie single meaning each header tube is made form one piece of tubing. Might even look up what Bucci has to say about V6 header designs...
No one is going to mandrel bend primarys for a set of one off headers without charging a zillion dollars to do it.
Had I elected to have jigs made and order 20 sets of them, that's how the production ones would have been made. As I said before, I don't have any intention of selling these headers. They are something I wanted to do based on what I feel works for these cars.
There are things I would have still liked to have done differently and if I was setting up to make these in a production enviroment, I would have changed some stuff but I had to use what I had to work with.

I like how you relocated the joint under the starter so a better clamp can fit, but why not use a flex section there? Would the corrugation inside the braid cause too much turbulence?
That would probably have been a better FIT solution but in the long run, that thing has to be welded up anyway. The slip fit is mainly to aid getting everything connected, clamp it up then remove it and have someone weld it.

They look great. If I were to build a set I would do them like that.....with the 3 into 1 collector.

They look good, but I still like the idea of equal legnth, like the hooker headers. 3-into-1, and equal legnth. Is Anderson really using these on his TSM car?
Not bashing your work. I've never made any myself.

Last i knew Anderson had a set of Hooker Headers on his car

The Hookers work okay on fast cars. They still have the smaller primarys tho and they don't work real well with O2 sensors but when you have a FAST, etc, that doesn't matter.
Also, Hooker basically stole this design from the guy who made the headers above. He starting making them for Duttweiler back in the late 80s and offered them in 1 1/2 and 1 5/8th primarys. I had a set of the 1 5/8th primary ones. They were nicely made but they were very hard to keep sealed up.
Shane's got 2 or 3 sets of the Hookers.. at least you know where to go if you want a set :)
