Anyone have any feedback on one of these? Looked everywhere in archives and can't find much at all on this. Any experienced Extender chips users for 72#'s got anything good or bad to say? Thanks

I've used the Extenders for bluetops, 50's and now for 55's on one car and 75's on the other. I haven't had a chance to drive the cars witht he 75's and 55's yet but the Extenders always performed flawlessly for me on the other injectors. :applaus: I don't think you'll have any problem with them at all.

I drove a friend's car around that had one. I'd plugged my Wide band in to see if it was safe for him to unleash it. While doing some shake down runs the next day, leaving easy and shutting off at the 1,000' mark netted an 11.2.
It was an Extender Extreme thou.

The new 60's respond well to high fuel pressure according to Ken, but I would do it once and get the 72's. You know those are good to 10.0, I think the 60's would be stretched pretty thin at 10.5.
One thing you dont want to run out of on a high horsepower car is fuel. Whats cheaper, a couple hundred bucks to do the ECM or picking the crank up off the track?

It's more dependant on how fast you want to go, rather than the size of the turbo. 60's should take you to the 10.80's with a reasonable duty cycle. I'm certain they would go faster with a good fuel supply and an efficient tune, possibly 10.50's. But as HairDrier said, you'd be stretching it at that point.

The answer is also octane dependent, you can run a lot leaner on really good gas. As the octane is reduced, you have to quench the knock with fuel which uses up injector capacity. Of course you have to lower the boost which reduces power and fuel requirements....
So, how are you planning to run the car?
On 116 octane I'd say that mid to high 120's for trap speed is possible on 60's. Which is as much power as I want to try to push through my stock shortblock...... :)

Thank You Gentelman For Your Help. To You Bob. I Will Race Maybe Six Time A Year. And Put 500 Street Miles On The Car. So I Can Afford 116 Fuel. Just An Aside, I Have A Trans+ And Scanmaster. I Was Thinking Wide Band 02 As Well, Your Thoughts? Once Again Thank You For The Addvice. Frank.
