Parts needed:

1) Pepboys – 3” hose clamps

2) Aircraft ducting SCAT (length depend on your setup)- http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/scat.php

3) Home Depot – Oatey 3” PVC snap-in drain (the screw bosses have to be removed…hackit with a Dremel). This is used as a collar to connect the SCAT tube to the cone filter.

4) Casper Electrons - MAT (AIR TEMP) sensor extension https://www.casperselectronics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=109018&Category_Code=

5) Zip tie (a way to attach cone filter to bumper etc.)- Any hardware or Auto part store.

6) Two heavy duty hoses (the same ones used on the MAF pipe). Pulled the wire out of the SCAT tube the length of the hoses on each end and installed them into the SCAT tube. This helps clamping of the SCAT tube to the MAF tube and PVC pipe.

Designed to receive airflow from an opening in the bumped where the driverside turn signal light is mounted. If you want your turn signal to still work you must leave the bulb in the socket and tie up the wiring. Performance gain? Don’t know I haven’t tested. Install pictures to come…

Duh! Sorry that was rude. Used as a connecting collar between the flex tube and cone filter.

Is there a reason why you just cant use reg 3" PVC pipe for that?

3" PVC pipe is 3" ID. I'm using a stock MAF and an ~3" K&N filter. Things would have to change if you are using a bigger inlet tube, LS1 MAF etc.

3" pipe is 3-1/2" OD. As the pipe "schedule" number goes higher, the wall thickness gets thicker (smaller ID, same OD). You could use 3" pipe but you would want 3-1/2" inlet air filter. HTH

I've been looking for this ducting for awhile now. Thanks for providing it.

I have one question. The AirFrame link that you provided portrays the ducting to be mostly orange/red in color. I would like it to be mostly all black like in the pictures that you provided.

Did yours arrive black and did it not match the color as described in the AirFrame website.

What you have is what I want. I don't want all red/orange.

It did arrive black and dont remember the color(s) listed when I ordered. Just ask for black when you order.
