Hey guys.. just noticed this the other week.. my steering now has a dead spot in it.. id say about 20* or so of steering wheel motion with no response..


which parts in the suspension should i look at replacing? its allllll stock..

Could be anything, but I'd bet the idler arm.

I'd be more inclined to suspect the steering box itself. After all, it is what does the work. Gotta remove the center link to know though, just a WAG.

If needed you can probably buy a good use steering box for around $60-$75, i bought one for $40 :marchmell , the GN steering box had 40,000miles on it..fixed my problem :gost:

there is a nut with a set screw in it on the top of the steering box. tighten it up , if that doesn't work check all of the bushings, balljoints and if tose are ok then replace the steering box.
