My car is back on the priority list. :dong: I rebuilt the transmission awhile back and thought it was OK. I took it to the track and some problems surfaced. The car would not shift in the D3 setting. Just revved up. Weird thing is the car shifted fine in the overdrive setting so I ended up racing in that setting. Well since then things have gotten progressively worse. Car will shift and drive around ok in D4 but in any other gear it feels like something is holding the car back. Will not hardly move in D1, D2, or D3. Took pressure readings today and they all seemed reasonably normal.

Getting ready to yank the VB and go through it but I can't think of anything in it that would be causing this. ATSG under No Manual 3rd or 2nd says to check the turbine shaft and overrun clutch seals etc. Fluid also doesn't look very good. Slightly burnt smelling and a little dark even though its new. Anybody had one act like this?? The more I think about it, I probably ought to just yank the thing and go back through it. :tnpe:
