Very simple. They just form an X. The "bent" braces, goes over the straght one. They meet in the middle and share the same bolt that holds the ones in the middle. YOu neeed to drill holes where they mount.

Its been a while since I did this install but I think I only had to drill two holes and both were on the bottom. Be careful not to drill into the back seat. The back seat comes out relatively easily. Lift the bottom off, and you will see the two bolts holding the seatbelts and seat back in.
Also make sure you jack the car up and support it by the frame when doing this. It will make your car as square as possible and make the seat braces more effective

Just make sure its by the frame and not the rear axle. Let me know if you have any Q's. I had a rough time at first because the directions from Postons SUCKED

If I can do it anyone can. But, the whole time I was doing it I thought my car was going to fall off the jack stands........I am just paranoid I guess. I did notice the rattles from the rear went away. Now all I hear is the exhaust rattle sometimes... :fragez:

Oh BTW while I was happy with the rear seat braces, I saw the biggest improvement by far from the underneath "V" frame braces. COMPLETELY changed the way the car handled.

I got those too. I thought those helped also. I did them at the same time, stupid me. So I just saw a overall difference. :albert: I also ended up dropping a nut or bolt, one of the two, into the frame...........stop laughing.......... :add_wegbr ......dammit stop it........ :zahn:
Your in the lead HairDrier. GOOD LUCK

Its not that big of a deal, I wouldnt lose any sleep over it. Its just that the car is not as square. I dont any of these frames are really square anymore

Does it make a difference when you are sitting in the trunk installing them?

No, not if the car is on jackstands. It is the only practical way to get it done

Our trunks are so big I think even a 300 pounder should be able to get in. I go 220 and had enough room.
If I get sent to "sleep with the fishes" by the Mafia I want it to be in a TR trunk :add_wegbr

No, the reason you jack it up is so that the body is level/neutral and not twisted when you bolt them in. Having one tire in a low spot on the pavement will actually twist the whole body of the car. Hard to imagine a full frame/big car like that twisting..but it does, and t-roof cars even more so.

So, these braces will prevent pillar crack and twisting when the car launches :fragez:

They will help combat it. Along with the front top and bottom braces you will have stiffened the car a LOT. The only thing better would be a cage or rollbar
