And the free stuff just keeps on coming.

This month we have a digital EGT gauge ($199.00 value) up for grabs. Donated by SMC Enterprises, this is a great tool to aid in tuning your car.

So how's the contest going to go down this time? Pretty simple. Basically all you have to do is post. Post count for the month is tracked on this (http://www.t6p.com/forums/topposters.php) web page. All Off Topic forums are exempt from the post count so posting in any of those will not increase your monthly total.

On March 17th at midnight, the contest will end. The person with the most posts wins the EGT gauge.

Finally, any person making excessive "me too" posts just to run up their post count will be disqualified from the contest. Ill be tracking the top posters posting habits to make sure this doesn't happen.

Good luck!

By looking at that post list, I can already guess who will win! Not hard for those guys who are already frequent posters to hang onto their lead! :D

There's a month left in the contest. Anyone should be able to catch up after only 1 day. TOTAL posts mean nothing, its only posts for the month.

I am relatively new to turbo Buicks. I have admired them for years, but never found a really clean one until a couple of years ago. I bought it and really love it and have not had any trouble with it until now.
A couple of days ago I pulled out into traffic and my GN just died with no warning when I gave it about half throttle. It started right up and took off, but I don't know enough about these cars to know what caused it to stall.
Since then I have noticed it hesitate when I first give it gas, especially when it's cold. It runs fine except for that little hesitation.
What do I check first? I would appreciate help/advice from you who have experience with these cars. I just gotTurboLink, but haven't hooked it up yet.

Thanks,
Jimmie

Start a new thread in the tech forum for this, so you get some good responses. I would bet $50 that your IAC/TPS is way out of wack. You need a scan tool ASAP

Thanks for the reply. Sorry about posting in the wrong thread. I'm new at this, too.

I don't know why others aren't running their boards like this one. We should have to pay a membership to come here....wait, forget I said that..bad idea.
