bought my 1st 84 T-Type and now i have some questions

i reciently bought a 84 T-Type, its basically stock except for headers,and exhaust. I can feel my tranny starting to go how much does it usally cost to get it rubuilt, and since its only got the 1 wheel peal how much would it cost to turn it into posi. What does it usally run to get my motor rebuilt and whats the best rebuild kit to go with ? Any information would be great

Jimmy's Transmission, located NW of Chicago does his rebuild for $900.
As for the one tire fire, I would guess $600-800 and you can either replace your unit or buy an existing posi rear.
I am not sure on a rebuild, but I believe Grooms offers an engine for $3300.

hey matt welcome to the hot air world tranny done nice about 900 to 1000 dollars. to rebuild the block i purchased the rebuild kit according to my use a little over stock but not to crazy yet.but expect to pay about 4grand for a nice cheap build
