Like all their other stuff, these kits look like great quality. Gonna order me a set and box my uppers and lowers. I dont see myself spending 120 bux on greasable bushings though. Most likely go with the 1LE bushings upper and lower. Anyone did this before, any tips, did ya mig weld them? Was it tight fitting or was there a larger gap to fill with weld?

I would like to get the HR sway bar, however Paul has not answered e-mails or the phone. :dong:

Some people think there is no advantage to poly bushings, and greasable ones squeek anyway, I guess it's the nature of the material. That said, I liked my cheap set of Energy Suspension bushings out of the Summit catalog just fine.

I used the lower kit and had my mechanic at work weld them :thrashi:

They fit well. I too did not want to shell out that much for stupid bushings and put cheapies in. Now I ahve the $$ but dont feel like taking them back off. I know the poly's are better but I cant say how much. Just boxing the lowers radically reduced my wheelhop. Dont forget to put the little spacers back in that go on the bolts.

Yea, I did the ones in my 86 and it was a huge dif. Right now I dont even have a posi in the Limited, but that's on the list of things to get done this offseason. I made my own boxing kit on it and it was OK, but these look very nice..

I'm planning on having my body guy mig weld the HR kits. I'll bolt the sway bar spacer into the lowers and have him tack them in place. Greaseless Energy Suspension bushings already installed.

Top quality. You wont have much of a gap to fill. Depends more on the condition of your control arms.

Yeah just lay them in the arm and weld away, they fit very well. If you plan on running an ATR sway bar make sure they are welded very strong. The ATR bar can crunch boxed lowers also
