I recently installed one of Kenwoods Excelon units in my TR. Along with that I installed a couple of amps to power a set of polk midrange and tweets as well as an infinity subwoofer.
Occassionally I get this engine noise when the radio is playing. Try playing the Kenwood Keg or auxilary Sirius radio and no RFI. When I wired the car I ran signal down one side of the car and power down the other.
Any ideas on what could be causing this RFI, seems as though it has something to do with radio reception, but not being an audio expert I am at a loss about the occassional RFI.
