Now just to get the TV cable and shift indicators adjusted and I should be in business. Took it for a quick spin and WOW what an improvement. It will take some getting used to with that 3,000 stall converter. Tried launching and that will take some practice without sending the tires up in smoke. :thrashi:

A friend here in town that is real familiar with these trannies and 700r4's. I won't tell you how much that cost me because you would only get jealous but lets just say I ended up saving a WHOLE LOT of money with getting the converter and the tranny street/strip build. :thrashi:

What is the stock stall on the 83's anyway? Did you have a stock converter before?

Stock stall was about 1800-2000 but I was lucky to have it stall up to 1350 before being replaced. Made it really hard to build any boost.

This is really gonna improve your '60 and reduce turbo lag. :applaus:

that's the new "9x11" style convertor TCS started making last summer... Quite a bit different than the one I had made years ago...

OK I found a pic of mine for comparison. You can see it is a true 9.5"
