I switched to the DLS Power Plate for perfect air flow to all holes. The car picked up 3 tenths by switching plates.

OK, out of the 26 dudes in the poll that have had one, 21 have taken it off. And I would like to know why, and what was the result. The old TB.com EGT comparison thread is what really sold me, and have since been scared to take it off and have bad air distribution at this level so I have always left it on.

So if any of you guys would be so kind as to tell me what your results are (PM, email or whatever), that would be appreciated.

Get a ECU with cylinder correction. Use all the air you can get. I'm paying $$ to get more air, not block it. Worked great with the stock stuff, but...

I agree. If you do not have individual cylinder control then you may want to have one. My theory (yes theory, because I don't have access to high dollar flow equipment) is that there is a point when it is a restriction. In a low rpm engine you will see benefits. In a higher rpm engine you will not. Higher rpm engines have better intake parts. More in + more out = More power

I agree. I am running a little more rpm now and am thinking that the intake and or plenum might be starting to be the restriction. I sure wish I welded the EGT bungs in before I had my stuff coated.

It would be interesting to see the results of a back-to-back test of a car that was 10.50 or quicker, to see if at that point the PP was a restriction or not.

I agree, at some point, it must become a restriction....but when is that point ?

I know of a 10.6 car that saw virtually no difference once the plate was added.
