anyone tried the hoosier dot radials ?
i need some good tires for my trans am and i am thinking about trying them.
i have heard they get the same or better 60ft as the MT radial and last longer on the road.

I certainly like the tread pattern.

I agree but I wonder how they hook without heating them up.

If they are anything like the M/T just driving around on a warm day has them hooking way better than a reg. radial tire. Buddie has a set and loves them.
Only spin when very cool or cold out and even then 3 4 revs and bam! Hooked you are! :arco:
I have been looking at some of the 28" X 17" rim tall M&H Radials they just came out with. They have a bit more tread on them and are the same compond as the M/T from what they told me :)

Never got to try them out. I planed on changing the headgasket turbo and inj and heading to the track. It didnt work out like that, # 6 piston is burnt :tantrum2: So it will be awhile im gathering parts up for a 10 sec bottom end.
