I was just wondering ...If the weather was to change tomorrow(warm)how many would have their cars ready to drive?
I always wait to the last minute.Work takes too much of my time this time of the year.

Work takes too much of my time this time of the year.
Any time of the year for me
All I gotta do is pull the cover, drop the battery, and turn the key.
I can always add the goodies I got for Christmas later

It's too damn cold! ... besides, if it wasn't for the last minute nothing would get done on the car.

Winter is always new "project" time for me, so it's up on jack-stands till April, when the rush to finish begins.

I usually wait until MAY 1 to bring the car out on the road. That gives me a good month to put all the new things that i bought over the winter on.Untill then, I just start it every weekend.

Look for two GN's from the GNRA at the World of Wheels on Feb 20-22.
We meet once a month, year round. Alot of fast Buicks in Calgary & area, and alot of tech support.

PM me if you are interested in coming to the next meeting.

I usually get them out by the 1st of may when all the snow is gone and the roads are clean. That gives me all the time I need to put on the new parts I have bought during the winter.

My GN is sitting under a cover in my storage unit. I could drive it tommorrow, but it needs to be tuned before I go Rustang hunting this spring/summer. Can not wait to get her running right and get to the track with it.

Lets see, its been a busy winter

1. pulled valve covers and put new gaskets in, tightened head bolts, and painted valve covers

2. Pulled alternator and painted the housing

3. Installed a set of RJC pulleys

4. dropped tranny pan, cried, and put it back together with a new filter. Saving money for impending failure

5. installed TBs.com mini starter

6. new pads and rotors in front

7. Whole new Powermaster system  (not done yet)

8. Hooker exhaust (not done yet)

9. Bilstein shocks (not done yet)
