Check your # to the reference ones.
nal is MAL (malfunction)
I'ld start with a good spring cleaning if you haven't done one.

Your TPS is low, It should be approx .4 to .46 volts
And your IAC is a bit high, 20 to 25 counts is ideal
although 10 to 40 counts is acceptable. Ken Mosher
has some excellent posts on gnttype.org on how to make
those adjustments. If you can't find them, I've made them
into word documents that I can send you. :beerglass

Yeah get the TPS and IAC str8 and everything else looks good.
Thanks y'all! I forgot about this thread. Last week I tuned my tps to .44 and I think 4.65 at wot. iac to 25. I cant remember the exact #'s. I cant believe how easy it was. I was scared over nothing. I thought I would adjust and the car would run like crap. Nothin' to it! I used the page from gnttype.org.
Is my car tuned? Razor took me to school in another thread I have about alky. Is there more to it or is it tuned?
After I adjusted the screw the idle calmed down. I park in gravel and when I used to put the car in reverse the back tires would spin a bit. Kinda cool. My car feels better now. Calmed her down.
Lastly, I've read alot of places that some cars like different things. I think I need to tweak iac and tps. Raise them both a little. It's just my feeling.

No you dont. Dont piss with it
Worry about more important things. There is a little bit more to tuning than just the idle settings. You'll see

lol...i got cha man. I'll leave it. I figured that tuning was more involved than just that but was hoping I'd get off easy. Dangit!! My tps, iac and fuel pressure is set(43#'s line off). Whats next? My car is totally stock 'cept for the hw340, chip, afpr, cold air. I've got other goodies but there going to have to wait. BTW, could I install my *bling *bling big neck stretch IC without any worries? It kinda cost alot and it's just sitting collecting dust in my garage/livingroom/buickmuseum.

You can install it anytime as long as you have the special "stepup" hose from the turbo to the IC.
After you install be careful as the boost may be a little higher than before, just keep an eye on it the first time you go WOT.
Thanx again HD. I got the "bump" hose. I'm not going to bug you anymore today:) Just wait till tomorrow :zahn: Your quickly becoming my go-to-guy. lol, sorry.

Well you have the car tuned to Idle correctly so now you you need to go make a few passes and post the readings from them to see where your car is overall. Just make sure you don't stay in it if you get any KR. Don't want you coming back and saying 1badTTA told me to make a few passes, the scanmaster read 18.6* of KR, is that bad :fragez: :fragez: LOL
Cool Bob, thats why I like this board. I feel comfortable. I dont know why but I'm scared of the other board. And when I'm scared of something, theres a subcontious reason. Cant explaine it.
Rick...you dont have to worry about me getting too much knock...I've read tons about that subject and I know thats the worst. I cant remember everything...like...is knock when the car shifts common. I think it's ok. Cant remember the details though. I may have some knock after tuning the tps and iac. Maybe before the tuning. I've only seen knock on my SM once during a shift. I havent paid close attention to it so maybe sometimes I get knock on shifts. Havent been able to get any "seat time" So dont even bother with what I just said untill I can give you a better idea. Maybe you can head me in the right direction though. Damn, I just reread that and It's confusing. Been a long day...I'm tired. G'night.
