Hey guys what would a 76" turbine wheel and a 63" compressor wheel compare to in turbo sizes?

I think you mean 76mm and 63mm. ;).
the 76" stuff is a wee bit largish. a te45 (not te45a) uses a 63mm compressor wheel, so that should give you a ballpark. They measure exhaust wheels in trims and I'm not sure which trim is how many mm's, but since the compressor wheel is the same as a te45 I'd guess a 76mm is somewhere around P or Q trim exhaust.

On the new GT stuff, they measure the exhaust wheels backward from the compressor wheels. All wheels, compressor and exhaust, are measured in Trim and MM. Usually they just give one of the mm sizes. From there, you can calculate the other mm size from the trim.

My bad. Just what we need, more confusion in turbocharger naming conventions :dong:

Click here (http://www.limitengineering.com/GTmodelcode.pdf) to go to the Garrett website for info on how they are coding the GT turbos!! :thrashi:

I know the 45a has a 66mm and a 76mm exhaust. Maybe a T63e?

The 45a now comes with a 67mm wheel. Do not let John know that I told you!!!!!
It just keeps getting better. I was gonna upgrade my 61 to a 70, but I think that I will upgrade to make it a 45a. :thrashi:
