How did you go from 3"MAF to a 3 1/2" MAF.Do they sale a hose that goes from 3" to 3 1/2" ?
What did you use?
Help!
You could actually be able to find that adapter hose in the plumbing section of your local Home Depot, etc.

My solution was the use of a cheap plumbing adapter (3") from the local hardware store, also available at Home Depot, etc. It's labeled as a 3" fixture but is actually larger than that, and fits over the LS1 MAF end nicely.
You'll have to ignore the pieces on the input side of the MAF, those are special pieces I had laying around and cobbled together my own cold air kit with MAT sensor mount.

Get one of the adapter hoses from one of the Turbo vendor guys. Yes, hardware store stuff will work, but there are angles of convergance, and divergance that optimise airflow. Using a *step* immediately in front of the MAF and it's related turbulence isn't something, I'd do.

Question
I'd like to see the difference in flow between 3.5" MAF & a3" MAF in front of the tthrottle body??
Anybody have any figures on these two options??
I'd think a blow through 3" would flow almost the same as a suck through 3.5".
