Just wanted to see if anybody on here has every gotten an audio sponsor for their car. If so, what was the process that had to be taken to get the sponsor.

It is practically impossible. I have an "open deal" with kicker to do a car at a huge discount. Which I may do an SPL truck for them eventually. But to do a SQ car would take certian "high end" companies backing and you can forget that. JL laughs at this they get so many phone calls about it. They do "employee" cars to send to events:sad2:
Only reason Kicker offered such a deal is becuase they want their foot back in the door at my buddies shop:SHOCKED:

I am spo'd by Polk Audio. I havent done the GN yet, thats next on the list. My last Daily Driver/demo car (03 Jetta 1.8T) was all Polk/Momo, and was used by them at several shows. Heres a few pics, Pardon it being a non-GN for now; also note its not so flashy and overdone...thats key. After all, I drove it 40K miles this way.

The inside;

Also, a good proposal of past/present/future is necessary, and should always be mailed to the marketing director. I have been showing cars 15 + years, spo'd for over 10 , and it sometimes is MORE work than if you just bought the stuff yourself. However, Polk has been very good to work with. I am with my third diff audio sponsor, they like to switch up cars and ,markets, so be ready to hear "no" alot.
Good luck
