Best to date for the 87 is 11.80@111 1.80 60'. Mods include a stock, never been apart long block that falls flat on its face at 4400 rpm :sleep: , PT 52, 57's, PTE i/c, 3200 stall.
The 86 is a stock 109 block, 2 center caps and a girdle typicle GN hot rod motor. I've sorta outgrown this motor before its even hit the street since my intrests have gone more to bracket raceing in the 9.80's range than the wicked street motor it was built for. Looks like the 87 is gonna get an upgrade soon :zahn:
BTW, the 86 hasnt run yet as it all new and not quite done yet. Im hopein to be ready if the track opens in March, weather permitting. Just gettin down the track w/o shit flyin off would be a good thing. The numbers will come in time.
