I want to put 20" rims on my GN. My question is will a 20x8.5" rim fit on a GN, I'm new to the GN so I'm not sure what the wheel base is, and how big you can actually go. I also would like some suggestions on what size tires I should put on the rims. Any help is appreciated.

Yes, 20x8.5 fits F&R, actually, a 10" will go in the rear . The correct "plus" sizes for tires are arguable, In my findings, I see front being 245/30/20 on a 8.5, and a 275/30/20 on a 10" rear rim. Alot of 20" GN owners run 35 series to get a lil more rubber for thier $$, those no profiles are rough on an older car. I used 215/65-15 as a sizing variable. The back spacing on the wheels will make or break this fit, ASK ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL 20" OWNER!
Also, look at the tires on Buicks thread for additional info.

Has any one tried 275 40 17 on both front and rear with 17" x 10" rims?

I have said many times, the right 20" rim and the right tire combo can look awesome on these cars. But have to put some rubber on there. Exteremly L/P tires don't look good IMO on these cars:arco:
