driveshaft question

Alright here's my problem my cousin has a 1992 tuned port z28 and the trans is goin out in it. I have a spare 200r4 that I can put in it. I have everything to convert it over from the 700r4. Here's the question: Is the driveshaft a piece that gm custom made for the TTA or is it just a grand national driveshaft? I ask this because I have an aluminum dynatech drive shaft for my my t type that I'm goin to let him borrow:nunu:

At http://www.spohn.net you can get one of his new driveshafts for the 2004R that will bolt right in. A bit expensive, but I don't think you will have to ever get another one!
